The Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme offers you a rare and authentic moment on the Réseau des Bains de Mer.
The Train des Marées combines gastronomy, heritage and exceptional landscapes, in the unique setting of the Bay of Somme.
Aboard our historic train and our "Belle-Epoque" cars towed by a steam locomotive, you will travel from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme to Noyelles-sur-Mer.
To go, the train stops on the dike between landscapes of mollières and marshes, in the heart of the Bay of Somme. Over the course of the meal concocted by our caterer, the show of the rising tide, during a high tide coefficient, is offered to you.
The journey continues to Noyelles-sur-Mer station where dessert and coffee will be served. It is also an opportunity to witness the manoeuvres of our driving team as the locomotive is turned over. In season, you will witness the passage and maneuvers of our regular trains.
Then the train departs towards Saint-Valery for the return trip of 25 minutes, leaving you the opportunity to admire again the landscapes of the bottom of the Bay of Somme...
The departure is at 12:30 from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme station, with a return scheduled around 3:30 pm.
In case of rainy or windy weather, the CFBS reserves the right to modify the route and move the train for the meal service.
