From Rails to Waves: discover the Bay of Somme by Train & Boat

From Rails to Waves proposes to combine two modes of transport: the train and the boat. Cross the Bay of Somme on the sea side during a one-hour walk on a covered boat (Commander Charcot III) from the port of Saint Valery sur Somme or Crotoy.
On the way back, discover the Bay of Somme on the Earth side, aboard our historic train (1 hour journey).
The departure is in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, at the ticket office of the Port. (For train and boat)

Tariffs

Train & Boat package
- Adult: €30.00 including taxes
- Child (3 to 12 years): 20.00€ including taxes
- Child under 3: free
This rate includes: the boat trip, the train trip, the "one-time member" contribution to the CFBS association (RCP insurance coverage).

In case of bad weather, the boat crossing can be cancelled. It will be proposed in replacement of a round trip train, accompanied by a partial reimbursement of the benefit, or the deferral of the benefit on another, depending on availability.

Features

In Saint Valery, train and boat departures and arrivals take place at the Port.
At Crotoy, the boat departs at the port, the train departs at the station (about 500 meters distance between the port and the station).
The ticket does not reserve a seat on the train. Also, we advise you to be present at the station 45 minutes before departure.

Info Boat: Dogs accepted, accessibility PMR (Attention for PMR receptions, please contact us in advance so that we can assure you the best reception due to the limited number of places).
It is advisable to arrive 20 minutes before the departure of the boat.

Booking conditions

Due to limited dates and places, it is advisable to book as soon as possible.Payment terms: 100% upon order.

Online sales are closed 3 days before the service. However, depending on the available places remaining, the sale is available on the same day of the service at the departure station.

Conditions of Modification or Cancellation

The Customer may change or cancel the reservation before the travel date.
However, in case of late cancellation, a resolution fee will be applied (see our General Sales Conditions, section 11.1).
